Abstracts

  • Abstract Format: maximum 1000 characters
  • Key Words: minimum 3, maximum 5

After review by the Workshops Managers, propositions will be reviewed by the Scientific Organization.

The results will be individually sent to each author by email.

 

Final Papers

The final papers for the symposium should be submitted through the platform until 7th of September.

Publication can be in English or French.

Articles should normally be of 6000 words (about 15 pages). However, shorter and longer work can be considered if the length is appropriate and justified.

Articles must include an up-to 150-word abstract and 4-5 keywords.

Articles should use the Author-Date system of citation, and include a full Bibliography. Where an item is available electronically (not in a closed database) please supply the URL link. Please use the citation style of the International Review of Sociology, which can be accessed on http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/authors/style/reference/tf_X.pdf. This style is available in the Endnote bibliography software.

Please include your affiliation and contact information (professional email).

Papers should be submitted as OpenOffice or Microsoft Word (.doc or .rtf) files. Headings and subheadings must be marked with numbers, separated by full stops (i.e. 1.; 1.2.; 1.2.1.), with no more than three numbers.

Please use Times New Roman 12-point font, 1.5 line spaced.

 

Distinction

A distinction will be awarded to the best paper. A book will be offered.

The two best following papers will have an oral mention.

The best papers can be chosen for publication.

The best papers are :

and

"The evolution of detaining accompanied minors without a resisence permit in Belgium - Lars Breuls (Crime & Society, Free University Brussels) et Steven de Ridder (Departement of Criminology, Vrije Universiteit Brussel)
